  • Mark Srnka, eldest son of Liz and Al Srnka, died on Wednesday, February 28.  Services are pending at this time.

Please join us as we pray for those who have died and for those who grieve.

Midterms are Coming:  The New Zealand Prayer Book offers us the following prayer:  O Eternal God, bless all schools, colleges and universities, especially Truman State University, A. T. Still University,  Moberly Area Community College, and the Kirksville RIII schools that they may be lively centers for sound learning, new discovery and the pursuit of wisdom; grant that those who teach and those who learn may find you to be the source of all truth.

Coffee Hour Volunteers Needed:  Speak with Karen Croarkin or Sally West, or just sign up for the Sunday of your choice on the calendar downstairs.

Bible Study:  Want to try something new for Lent?  Try the Monday evening Bible Study (Feb. 26, March 5, and March 19) from 6:30 to 7:30.  Come for any or all sessions on the Gospel of Mark.  You may also want to consider Noonday Prayer/Bible Study at Twin Pines on Tuesdays from 1:30 to 2:30 in the small dining room on the east end of the main floor dining room.  Or challenge yourself to try Morning Prayer on Wednesdays 7:30-7:50 a.m. at church!

Diocesan Leadership Conference:  Diocesan Leadership Conference “Opening the Red Doors: What Brought Us In, Will Bring In Others” will be held on Saturday, March 3, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., St. Francis Episcopal Church, Eureka.  Rev. Kimberly Jackson, Associate Rector, All Saints’ Episcopal, Atlanta, will lead.  Registration is $25 and includes lunch.  Register online at tiny.cc/Leadership2018.

Noonday Prayer at Twin Pines:  on Tuesdays at 1:30 has resumed.  We are glad to be back!  Please feel free to join us for an hour of service and gospel discussion!  We meet in the small dining room at the east end of the main downstairs dining room.

Grief Group:  The grief support group for parents who have lost children will begin meeting at the Hospice office next week rather than at Trinity.  They expressed gratitude for the use of our space for the past two years.  Please take note of the new location and refer anyone who grieves the loss of a child to this wonderful group.

St. Patrick’s Day Dinner:  Save the Date!  Our annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner will be held on Saturday, March 17 – but the time will change.  Because it’s a weekend, the parade will be held at 11, so we will begin serving at 11:30 a.m.

Celebration of Ministry: Save the date of May 3rd at 7 pm for our Celebration of Ministry with Bishop Wayne Smith.

Future Bishop’s Committee Meetings:  Please note that the March meeting has been moved from March 11 to March 4.  Meetings are open to all.

Mark Your Calendar: Upcoming special dates include
