Worship With Us

Our style of worship grows out of our membership in the Anglican communion, where Scripture, tradition, and reason form the basis for worship. We use the common lectionary with its daily readings from both the Old and New Testaments; we include the Eucharist in most services, and we sing joyously and often, as the church season allows. In addition to weekly Sunday Eucharist, Tuesday Noonday Prayer (at Twin Pines Adult Care Center), and Wednesday Morning Prayer, we have occasional services in the Taize tradition, and also services which recognize St. Francis and his love of animals and services which allow us to sing carols.  Music is almost always a key part of our services and so its absence, for example, during Lent, is also a powerful force. Our historic building, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, makes a beautiful, acoustically lively setting for enthusiastic and talented singing.  With recent renovations, the facility is ADA accessible, with accessible bathrooms on all levels.
