Time and Talent Survey:  has been going on this month.  If you did not fill out a copy at church, you will soon see a copy in your mailbox.  Please fill out and return to the church.  Thanks!

Morning Prayer on July 22:  To become acquainted with this shorter, lay-led, non-Eucharistic service, take a look at pages 75-102 in your Book of Common Prayer.  Hope to see you that Sunday!

PAC Open House and Ribbon Cutting:  Wednesday, July 25, 4-6 p.m. in new building at 2012 South Halliburton.  Trinity is one of the founding members of PAC (Pantry for Adair County) to expand food resources in our area.

Surprise Guests:  Surprise guests at Wednesday Morning Prayer this week were Jan and Rob Hoeffler from Ohio.  Jan is the great-niece of Irwin Dunbar, the architect who designed Trinity.  It was lovely to talk with them and give them a brief tour of the church.

Coffee Hour:  Coffee Hour this Sunday will be hosted by several folks who volunteered to bring treats to share.  Come on down and sample from this feast!

Food 4 Kids (July 30-August 3):  Thanks to everyone who has volunteered so far.  We still need three volunteers for Jaycee and PC Mills parks August 1-3.  Training materials will be sent to all volunteers next week.

Community Roots Festival:  Trinity will have a non-profit informational booth at this festival on August 25.  Our focus will be music – making simple musical instruments, sharing copies of current songs we have permission to share, etc.  If you’d like to help staff the booth, contact Diane Johnson or Amy Fallon.

Process for Calling New Bishop:  The Diocese of Missouri is beginning the process of calling a new bishop. Bishop Smith has announced his intention to retire in 2020. The Diocese will elect a new bishop at Diocesan Convention in 2019, ad we expect to consecrate a new bishop in the spring of 2020. You can learn more about details about the process at https://www.diocesemo.org/bishop-search

Adult Formation:  will meet at the Point at Thousand Hills State Park at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesdays, beginning June 13.  Topic:  Brene Brown’s “The Gifts of Imperfection.”  Bring a “sack supper” if you like.

LaDonna Taylor will celebrate her 80th birthday on June 19th.  A party is in the works – and if you’d like to send a card, her address is:  1501 So. Jamison, Apt. C1, Kirksville MO 63501.  Let’s fill her mailbox!
