Baby Elam Has Arrived!  Congratulations to Dana, Bill, and new baby Bria Laurel Elam!  Beginning a new family is a great adventure!

Have you been following Presiding Bishop Michael Curry?  Bishop Curry delivered the sermon at the royal wedding, has appeared on talk shows and the news recently – but did you know that he is part of 23 “elders” from several denominations who spent Ash Wednesday together praying and deliberating about a response to current events?  “Reclaiming Jesus” is the result of their work (http://reclaimingjesus.org).  About 2,500 people participated in a service at the National City Christian Church, procession, and vigil at the gates of the White House on May 24. Since then, more than 100,000 people have viewed the livestream of that event and the Reclaiming Jesus video has had more than 3 million views.  The core of this movement is expressed in “Reclaiming Jesus: a Confession of Faith in a Time of Crisis” – and a summary will be available for you after worship this Sunday.  You can also obtain a full copy of the statement and other materials at the website above.

Adult Formation:  will meet at the Point at Thousand Hills State Park at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesdays, beginning June 13.  Topic:  Brene Brown’s “The Gifts of Imperfection.”  Bring a “sack supper” if you like.

Second Saturdays Yoga:  Second Saturday Yoga is on vacation until September.

Food 4 Kids: Trinity’s week for Food 4 Kids this summer is July 30-August 3.  We will be looking for volunteers soon.
