Deaconess Anne Visitors Supper: Our church is hosting clergy and four interns from the Deaconess Anne program on Saturday night, April 29, and Sunday morning, April 30. Campus ministry groups from United Methodist Church and First Presbyterian Church will be joining our guests and ECM for a vegetarian supper on Saturday. If you are interested in contributing a dish for the meal, please talk with Diane Johnson.

fill-the-ford-day-with-arlaFill the Ford:  It’s almost time again for Fill the Ford, and time to give Kirksville Hy-Vee shoppers the opportunity to give generously to the Christian Community Food Depot.  We will be holding this year’s event on Saturday May 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in front of Hy-Vee.  Please take a moment to sign up to volunteer for this year’s event here.

Helping Migrants in NEMO:  Over the past 10 years, immigrants from all over the world have begun to call Northeast Missouri home. Many of them have suffered incredible hardships and come here seeking a better life for themselves and their families. Not only do they seek a better life, they also contribute to strengthening the economy, forming a valuable work force, and bringing culture and diversity to the area. On Sunday, April 30th from 4-6pm in Milan and Monday, May 1st from 5-7pm on the Kirksville Square, our communities will join together to celebrate the contributions of immigrants to NEMO. The events are free, and there will be food and entertainment. All are welcome! For more information check out NEMO Unified’s page on Facebook atwww.facebook.com/NEMOUnified.
