The Community Engagement Conference is an opportunity for everyone to come together in an inclusive group to learn how to support people with disabilities to be a part “of” their community rather than just “in” their community. This workshop is not only for individuals with disabilities and their family and friends but also for the community at large.

The keynote speaker specifically works with faith communities to make them more inclusive.  More information on the speaker and the sessions will be available soon.

Reclaiming Jesus:  Ecumenical Adult Formation—Reclaiming Jesus. We will be joined by the Methodists and Presbyterians.  New location, Trinity undercroft, 6 p.m. on Thursdays.

Red Barn Arts and Crafts Festival / Parents Day:  Saturday, September 29.  As we did last year, Trinity will provide free bottled water at our Little Free Food Pantry for anyone walking by our church.  We need a couple of people to check the cooler throughout that day to resupply as necessary.  Contact Amy or Diane if you are interested in helping.

Alzheimer’s Walk:  The annual Alzheimer’s walk will be held Saturday, Oct. 6, at 9 a.m. in Rotary Park.  Talk with Amy or Stuart Winikoff if you’d like to walk or donate.

Stewardship Campaign:  Our annual stewardship campaign begins this week and ends on Sunday, November 4.  Copies of the proposed 2019 budget are available in the undercroft.  If you have questions, please contact Ian Lindevald (treasurer) or Diane Johnson (bishop’s warden).

Diocesan Statement on Gun Storage:  This past spring, the Bishop and the Diocesan Council approved this statement on safe gun storage: “The Council of the Episcopal Diocese of Missouri implores gun owners to lock and secure weapons against use by children or those suffering from agonizing despair.  Please ensure that all guns in your home are locked and secured against use by children or those suffering agonizing despair.”

Annual Buddy Pack Walk: The annual Buddy Pack Walk, originally scheduled for Sept. 22,  has been postponed.

Food Depot:  Our Food Depot items for September – Sauces and Condiments

Little Free Food Pantry:  The LFFP is back!  Thanks to Cybil Wriedt and Krista Baker, the door has been repaired and we are open for business.  Remember that you may leave items in the pantry itself or in the cupboard to the right of the Harrison St door.
