There is room for all kinds of community involvement at Trinity. Some members are helping to bring a shelter for homeless persons to the community. Others serve on the boards of local organizations such as the Pantry for Adair County or the Adair County Humane Society. When needs arise, Trinity works with other churches, with civic organization and with city and county groups to address critical situations. Trinity clergy and members have testified at city council meetings on local issues of justice. Trinity often opens its doors for special services and private prayer during a local or national crisis.
