Worship is central to our life as a community of faith and the Altar Guild helps create a beautiful and holy space for it. The Altar Guild prepares the church for Sunday and holy day services, as well as for weddings, funerals and other special occasions. Altar Guild members usually serve one Sunday a month, setting things up before church and cleaning up afterwards. Although this is usually considered a “women’s ministry,” the opportunity to serve in this way is open to all members regardless of gender identity. Please speak to the Vicar or the director of the Altar Guild if you are interested in participating in this ministry.
